Many high schoolers and open runners from Nebraska competed in the Nike XC Regional Meet two weeks ago. Look for several runners from the Nebraska area to be racing tomorrow in the Footlocker XC Regionals tomorrow in Kenosha, WI. Results will be posted here.

This past weekend marks one of the most exciting for Nebraska running. The headline of the week comes out of Seward, with the Concordia Bulldog men finishing 2nd at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Portland, OR. The Concordia University cross country squads took part in the 2009 NAIA Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Vancouver, Wash. Despite some near misses, TNB pulls out the Men’s title. Matt Pohren took 4th overall in 40:02, Shannon Stenger 12th in 41:14, and Matt Schneider 13th in 41:17 were the top 3 scorers for the win.
